Google Helpful Content Update will be the biggest algorithm update of 2022.

To be rolled out in the last week of August 2022.

It will hit sites that foucs on AI generated content.

It will not impact sites that publish high quality content written by humans for humans.

This currently only impacts Google Search, not Discover or other Google surfaces.

Avoid creating content with the primary focus being search engines.

This update will not be applied to individual pages but to the whole site.

It will take about two weeks to fully roll out the update.
